Background:

vbkirk flowers and events is the result of 18 years working with flowers and the experience gained working on events of all sizes and types.  The foundation for vbkirk was created in Los Angeles working for the in-house florist at the Four Seasons Hotel, Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.  The design training received there was a classroom like no other in a unique upscale environment.

Consistent opportunities arose during the Los Angeles period including work with several prestigious floral design studios creating beautiful and exciting couture floral installations and preparing lavish events for elite customers and celebrity clientele.  Challenging international destination events expanded and deepened vbkirk’s talent for artistic style and design perspective.  vbkirk has a comprehensive understanding of event concepts, creative design process, and the production of event décor.

The Studio:

vbkirk is conveniently located in San Francisco’s Hayes Valley neighborhood.  The charming studio space overflows with irresistible color, organic inspiration, and creative energy.  Showcasing select local artists, vbkirk’s shop décor transforms with each new art installation or scheduled vbkirk event.  Fresh cut flower selections and orchid plants bring beauty and art to life, while various techniques in lighting, props, and staging are exhibited to generate an overall innovative environment.  Consultations with and design contributions from several top floral designers, event and staging experts, and landscape engineers are regularly incorporated into vbkirk productions.  Providing consistent quality with elegance and sophistication is vbkirk’s simple guarantee.
